I read an anecdote in an Ogilvy advertising tome about a executive who could walk into your house via the back door, and by the time he got to the front door he’d be able to predict what car would be on the drive. I shot these potraits in a sunny field in Cheshire where these proud owners come to display their cars to the world, and in each case, the type of car they have brought is the visual answer to the question ‘If I was a car, what sort of car would I be?’
